Are you wanting to go deeper with God?

celticway1 Are you wanting to go deeper with God?The YWAM DTS is not just a training course. So many people have come on a DTS and have gone away changed – forever!

The teaching, living in community, going on outreach to another culture, awesome worship, late night chats, leaders who love and pray with you, amazing new friends – we could make a huge list of the highlights of being on a DTS.

It’s not all a bed of roses – sometimes you’ll be upset at your roommate, you’ll hate your daily chores, lectures pushing your buttons, waiting to wash your clothes, waiting for the shower, weird toilets on outreach, weird food on outreach, missing your friends and family – these are just a few of the things which could make your DTS a tougher experience than you were expecting.

The reality is, you’ll probably have a mix of the amazing awesome times and the wish-this-was-over times. We don’t ever say that spending 6 months away from home stretching yourself spiritually is going to be easy.

BUT – Are You Wanting to go Deeper With God?

Hungry to grow closer to God, more in love with God, willing to change - your attitude to learning is really important to us because when the chips are down, when you’re finding DTS really tough are you going to grow, or will your heart attitude reveal something else?

Noone is perfect, we all have tough days – it’s learning to go towards God in the tough times and let Him embrace you, love you, heal you which will make your DTS a life changing experience.

  1. The DTS is a self-financing programme; therefore, it is expected that you will have the course fees before your arrival at the school. God’s provision of finances should be considered as a seal of His approval – an indication of His will for you to attend the DTS.

The Fees for the DTS have two parts:

The fee for the lecture phase in Scotland is £1870. The lecture phase fee includes the following non-refundable fees: £20 registration fee and £150 room reservation fee. (For married couples, two registration fees and two reservation fees are required).

The fee for the outreach phase depends on which team you join, as costs for travel, accommodation, food, visas and travel/medical insurance, vary according to location and time of year.

Plan on raising an additional £300-£500 pounds for your outreach. Each team’s budget is worked out separately, and inclusive outreach costs are usually between £700 and £1125.

On your arrival at the DTS, you will be expected to be able to pay the full fees for the lecture phase of £1870, and a minimum deposit for your outreach costs of £700 so that we can proceed with arranging flight tickets.

This makes a total of £2570 to be paid before or on arrival at the DTS. We would appreciate receiving your DTS fees in full (or at least 50%) one month before the DTS starts. Broken down, the fees look like this:

    DTS Lecture phase: £1870
    DTS Outreach deposit: £700
Amount to be paid on arrival: £2570
