… people to worship, listen to and obey God, releasing them to serve through evangelism, intercession, acts of compassion and other expressions of God’s heart for the world, possibly even pioneering new ministries.
The Lecture Phase
The purpose of the DTS is to …
… one’s ability to relate to, learn from and work with people, including those of different cultures, personalities and perspectives.
Live & Learn
We love meeting with God together! More than music, voices, instruments, art or dance. Jesus explained the Father is seeking those who will worship “in spirit and truth.”
Everyone lends a hand to keep our community functioning. This could include serving in the kitchen, helping with administration, working on property upkeep, wherever there is need and wherever your skills fit.
Make Him Known
The Outreach Phase
Adopted People groups of YWAM Scotland
YWAM Scotland has adopted eight people groups living in North Africa, Central Asia and Southeast Asia. We aim to regularly pray for them, find ways to bless and encourage them as well as reaching out with various teams.
“I believe [it] is the most important ministry/program we have in the whole of YWAM, because it is the doorway into the mission and the University of the Nations. It is the foundation for everything, where people are met with faith, where they come to understand the history and values of YWAM; where they are presented with mission opportunities… and it’s where their own vision may be fuelled.”
