Youth With A Mission was founded in 1960 when Loren Cunningham (YWAM’s co-founder) saw a vision of waves crashing on a shore, and saw those waves turn into great numbers of young people impacting the nations.

Since then YWAM has been part of a global movement of missions which has seen 100s of thousands of young people trained and sent out into the world to share the good news of Jesus.
